From Humble Beginnings

Like many successful businesses, B.C.S. is a new company, founded in Illinois by Corey Ellis, an ambitious 50-year-old Engineer. B.C.S. is an animal kennel that also offers an on-call delivery service with Corey using his pickup truck or van to deliver packages to local businesses, with the focus on the final step of getting goods to their destination, and the goal is to ensure that the right products are delivered promptly and in good condition. Our vision is to build an alternative delivery service that offers customers better services at a lower price than the competition.

B.C.S. offers reliable, cost effective package delivery for shippers throughout the Midwest and connecting states. Customers trust us to handle their important packages every day. B.C.S. offers a variety of shipping services, including package and LTL (less-than-truckload) shipping. Rates are based on several factors, including:

Package weight: The maximum weight per package is 150 lbs.

Shipping zone: The shipping zone is determined by the origin and destination zip codes.

Pallet positions: For LTL shipments, rates are based on pallet positions.

Additional charges: There are several additional charges, including reconsignment, scheduled delivery, and address correction fees.

Hazardous materials: There is a $35 charge for hazardous materials, limited to 500 lbs per day.

Special equipment required: There is a $30 charge if a special size vehicle is required for pick-up or delivery.

Forwarding fee: There is a $30 charge if the origin, destination, or third party is a transportation company.

B.C.S. offers a price estimation tool that can provide an estimate of the price, delivery time, and zone qualification for a package.
